Advanced Traditional Rug Hooking Workshop on Geometric Designs with Gail Dufresne

This workshop lets students cast aside preconceived notions of what color a form must be and play with color to achieve results in geometric designs. Students can use a pre-printed pattern, design one of their own, or use a pattern from the instructor. To register students must have previous experience completing at least one hooked rug piece. This class is offered in conjunction with “Off the Hook,” an exhibition of 200 antique and contemporary hook rugs organized by the ADAHA in partnership with the GEHC. ArtWorks!
