Docent Trainings

Sunday April 22, 2012 08:00 PM EDT
Cost: No cost info

From the venue:

Docent volunteers are specially trained to educate visitors about the museum and to help them understand the artworks on exhibit. Docents conduct tours, speak to visiting groups, and can be stationed in the galleries during events to answer questions. Being a docent is a uniquely rewarding experience, and is a great opportunity to interact in a meaningful way with the public. During docent training curator Kevin Sipp will guide you though the basics of how to give an informative, interactive, and fun tour. If you would like to be trained, please type Docent” in the subject line to volunteers at hammondshouse.org. Be sure to include your cell phone number.”
