N.C.-born, ATL-polished illustrator Barry Lee presents a collaborative show Fri., Dec. 4, called I Promised I Wouldn’t Do This. Lee lends his bright, bold lines and soft-nosed characters to a series of Southern nautical scenes as an homage to his Outer Banks upbringing. Local artists like Mac Stewart, Anne Elser, Catlanta, YoYo Ferro, and Blackcattips contribute to the works with mixed mediums, mermaids, seamen, and more salty nuances. DJs Trill Murray and Trilly Crystal will be on the 1s and 2s.
