The annual DMC regional DJ competition returns for another round of classic solo showcase-style battles. Young hopefuls spin two-minute sets in the elimination round, before moving on to a six-minute set, and, hopefully, the U.S. finals. Fingers of fury flip slider bars and scratch needles on vinyl with Samurai speed and accuracy. Judges DJ Lord of Public Enemy, DJ Precyce, and Diamond D decide who stays and who goes while host D.R.E.S. tha BEATnik keeps the night moving along from one contestant to the next.
