SCREEN. bills itself as a projection show “for you, and by you.” The event pulls together a night of non-commercial films from a slew of local submissions. The guidelines were simple enough, barring any works shorter than 15 seconds and longer than two minutes. Other than that, expect to see how people interpreted the prompt, “Simple: create something.” Fair enough! The event will feature four different projectors screening four different films simultaneously. Among those scheduled to show work include Lauren Adams, Brandon Polack, and Lacey Valentini. Combination designer-animators and former Huge colleagues Linda McNeil and James Mabery spearhead the effort.
