From the venue:

The Southeast Green Infrastructure Project is the largest permeable paver project in North America. The city initiative directing $15.8 million toward tearing up asphalt and replacing it with bricks is slated to affect the Peoplestown, Summerhill, and Mechanicsville neighborhoods. Councilmember Carla Smith and the Department of Watershed Management share an update on the green-minded project. The effort is designed to let water pass through easier as it addresses sewer and flooding overflow. Come lend your ear and learn about an idea pinned to benefit the city.
