For music lovers with an adventurous palate, the rise of Horse Lords is reason to celebrate. The Baltimore-based four-piece blends guitar, saxophone, bass, and percussive elements in ways that fully engage the senses in a mashup of interlocking polyrhythmic rock, free jazz freak-outs, rigorous grooves, and microtonal drones. Through it all, Horse Lords’ new album, Interventions (Northern Spy Records), weighs a sense of euphoria against an insatiable, experimental drive. This show is ages 18+ and non-smoking.
