Tacos, Beers, & Abortion

Tue., Sept. 6, 5:30-7 p.m. 2016
Cost: Free

From the venue:

Three years ago, the National Network of Abortion Funds decided to give the people a fun and filling way to support abortion access with the Taco or Beer Challenge. Reproductive care organizations across the country take turns hosting nights of tacos, beer, and fighting the good fight against abortion restrictions. This year, Access Reproductive Care-Southeast, Inc. has teamed up with Mother to host a Taco (and Tecate!) Tuesday to help all Southerners get comprehensive, safe, and affordable abortion access. The daunting challenge is to eat a $2 taco or drink a beer and drop some cash into the Change for Choice jar. Those who can’t make it out are encouraged to snap selfies of themselves eating tacos and drinking beer, share the pics online with #ToBC16, and donate to their women’s healthcare fund of choice.
