As a film, A Christmas Story is a bona fide holiday tradition; there’s surely no better soundtrack to opening gifts on Christmas morning than the annual 24-hour marathon of the 1983 flick. This year, enjoy the story of Ralphie and his beloved Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle live on stage. Nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score, A Christmas Story sets up shop at the Fox Theatre through Dec. 4, giving Atlantans an opportunity to experience Ralphie and his family, including the infamous leg lamp, in a whole new way. Sunday shows at 1 and 6:30 p.m.
