What started over on the West Coast in 2014 as California Bookstore Day has quickly grown into an event lit lovers around the country have come to appreciate. On Sat., May 2, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., A Cappella Books will take part in Independent Bookstore Day by offering special programs, author visits, and exclusive items for sale. Limited-edition buys include a Roxane Gay Chapbook, a colored broadside from Stephen King’s upcoming novel (not to mention love letters penned by the man himself), and A Cappella’s first T-shirt in almost a decade.
