20th Annual Hambidge Art Auction + Performance Gala

From the venue:The silent auction will feature artworks from more than 175 established and emerging artists who were selected by Ben Goldman, manager of Kibbee Gallery, and Teresa Bramlette Reeves, Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Zuckerman Museum. This yearâ€™s new performances and installations will include unveiling the concepts of the five finalists from an exciting new public art initiative jointly launched by the Goat Farm and Hambidge. Each of the finalists were commissioned $2,000 for beta-projects of their final concepts to present at the event with the opportunity for attendees to vote for their top choice. A private preview party will take place at 5 p.m. for sponsors, hosts and VIP patrons with a special selection of tastes provided by Avalon Catering, craft cocktails, first chance to buy $100 works on paper, and an exclusive preview tour with Michael Rooks, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum of Art. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $225.
