The Battle of Atlanta Bike Tour is led by author and adventure guide Jonah McDonald. It is an easy ride that leaves from East Atlanta Library Plaza area (7-10mi) across the civil war battlefield and its surroundings on the east side of Atlanta. The tour stops at important sites. Tickets available online or by calling. Spaces limited. BYO Bike and safety gear. Tour leaves promptly. It won’t be as hot as it was in July of 1864 during the Battle and you don’t have to wear a wool uniform! Proceeds benefit BATL programming and monument restoration.
