The Festival is geared to Atlanta’s diverse community of French speakers and everyone wishing to discover cultures where French is spoken; 57 countries in all. Offerings from Haiti, African nations, Belgium, France, Quebec and Switzerland are included with films, music, interactive workshops with playwrights and a gourmet brunch. Theatre du Reve presents plays focusing on women and children. Several are written by women, shining a light on contemporary issues like bullying behavior, our obsession with Facebook and mothers and daughters. Most are presented as readings to invite audience feedback. In French and English with super-titles.
