Atlanta’s Civil War Museum may seem like an odd place to celebrate the end of slavery. But Juneteenth is yet another way in which the city of Atlanta is expanding the Cyclorama’s programming, on the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Atlanta, to show how the war’s ripple effect had a far-reaching impact. From 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Fri., June 20, a range of family-oriented programming will include on-site genealogists to assist youth with creating their family tree.
