Round up a team of the leanest, meanest folks you know and head over to Historic Fourth Ward Park Sat., Aug. 16, for Field Day, presented by Creative Loafing and Atlanta Sport and Social Club. From noon-7 p.m., 50 teams will compete in eight throwback gym class events for the title of King of the Field. Unlike middle school, Atlanta Field Day comes equipped with food trucks, live music, and beer. Games include dodge ball, bubble soccer (you have to see it to believe it), tug-of-war, a balloon toss, and more. Prices to participate are $350-$400 per team of 10 and $40-$50 per person.
