Join us for this program on the history of freed blacks in Atlanta following the Civil War. Dr. Karcheik Sims-Alvarado will present this program using material drawn from the records of Fulton County. This program is made possible by a Civil War 150 Grant awarded to the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System by the Gilder-Lehrman Foundation with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
