Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta Party

A celebration is in order after another year of searching far and wide for the best people, places, and things that makes Atlanta great. The Goat Farm Arts Center presents Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta Party on Wed., Sept. 24, featuring a night of dancing, drinks, and performances. The event is hosted by Atlanta hip-hop mainstay D.R.E.S. tha Beatnik with entertainment by local talents such as Two-9, Little Tybee, Man or Astro-man?, Reptar, and others. Samples will be offered by local restaurants the General Muir, Bhojanic, Piece of Cake, and more, and Goose Island Beer Co. will give the first 500 people through the door two free drink tickets. The evening will roll on with melodic selections by All Vinyl Everything, a show starring Brigitte Bidet of the drag performance group Legendary Children, and a display of life-size geese by installation artist Nikki Starz. The VIP reception begins at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30 p.m.
