Boys2Men volunteers
From the venue:
Volunteering for Boys2Men is more than just an investment of time — it is a life-changing experience for both you and our children.
Mentoring Program:
Mentor a young male for a minimum commitment of at least two times a month for one year. During this period, you will develop a personal relationship, emulating the character of a progressive man in today’s society. You will also serve as a resource for support as they go through their counseling and training. Through your individual efforts, this program provides an opportunity to change the direction of the lives and empower families.
Internship Program:
Work with one or more young men to provide the training and life skills they need to succeed. You and/or your company (within a twelve month period) will commit to at least 80 hours of on the job training.
Fundraising/Administrative Support:
Help Boys2Men assist our youth by volunteering to provide administrative support, or by raising funds. Funds can be raised through your individual /corporate contacts or in-kind services. Administrative support will require a minimum commitment of 40 hours over a 3-month period. This can include making phones calls, data entry, event planning and more. Fundraising volunteers are asked to commit to raise a minimum of $250. For those committed to raise $1000 or more, Boys2men will be happy to assist in your fundraising efforts through acknowledgments and presentations.
