The Museum of Contempoary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) will present SCORE: Artists in Overtime featuring local and national contemporary artists who take inspiration from sports as their subject, both literally and poetically. The exhibition will be divided into three primary components: The Artist as Athlete: investigates the dialogue between artists and their work and the shared principles of art making and athleticism. The Players: explores the unique relationship between athletes and spectators + artists and viewers. The Commentators: considers sports as a vehicle and method for social and cultural commentary.
