Saturday July 6, 2013 08:00 PM EDT
Cost: Free for individual SEFAA members, $10 for non-members
From the venue:
Arturo Alonzo Sandoval is a unique fiber artist, distinguished by his choice to work with twentieth century tapes and films. He incorporates these materials into interlaced webs that provide permutations for his design concepts. Please join us and follow Arturo on his creative journey. His lecture will focus on how he has used traditional craft processes to transform his ideas into artworks. You’ll not only learn about the overall development of his body of work, but also how he has created his own niche in the art world with his innovative mixed media fiber art.
