Yes, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has a museum. It’s currently in the middle of hosting Health Is a Human Right: Race and Place in America, a temporary exhibit that looks at the fight for equal health care over the past 120 years. The collection includes historic documents, photographs, and other items related to the struggles people of different races and ethnicities have faced to achieve proper health care in the United States. While the David J. Sencer CDC Museum exhibit runs through April 25, 2014, curator Louise E. Shaw will offer a special tours at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 18 and Jan. 8 and 15.
