Sponsored by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Georgia Humanities Council, and held in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institute, Woodruff Arts Center is the final destination for this traveling exhibition on Sat., Jan. 18. Celebrating Georgia’s rich and diverse musical heritage, the Atlanta stop includes performances by Mudcat, Roxie Watson, Sacred Harp Singers, Georgia Crackers, and the Albany Civil Rights Institute Freedom Singers, among others. Art Rosenbaum will speak, there will be exhibits to enjoy and educate you, and best of all, it’s free to attend!
