South City Kitchen is preparing a Southern-style, three-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day dinner for $42 per person. Offering appetizers of pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes or fried gulf oysters. Entrée picks range from buttermilk fried chicken, braised short rib or vegetable plate. Dessert options of velvet Elvis cake, caramel apple toffee pudding and buttermilk chess pie round out the meal.
