The eighth annual running of the Morningside Mile is Sunday, March 25, at 2:00 p.m. The only one-mile competitive race in Atlanta with cash prizes returns to raise funds to draw attention and resources to the North Highland Corridor through historic Virginia-Highland and Morningside. Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to register to the race and everyone is invited for the #Rock the Block party afterwards in front of Doc Chey’s. My Friend Ian’s Band will entertain, an adult hot wheels race, noodle eating, and entertainment for the whole family will make this the best way to usher in Spring in the city.
