Because Easter is best spent brunching, South City Kitchen has whipped up a dynamic menu featuring brunch classics alongside festive additions. Grab your peeps and head to your favorite location beginning at 10 a.m. to enjoy a two-course menu alongside a la carte dessert offerings – all for $35 per person, or $17.50 for children under 12. Choose from an array of Southern starters, including fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and red pepper coulis; old Charleston she-crab soup, composed of fresh cream and sherry; and pimento cheese, complete with celery, housemade pickles and benne seed crackers. Keep the feast going with your choice of a ‘Southern inspiration’, featuring entrées like apple butter mascarpone French toast, Springer Mountain Farms fried chicken and shrimp & geechee boy grits. Don’t forget to order an a la carte dessert (think: chocolate caramel angel pie, sourdough beignets and more).
