CL RECOMMENDS

From the venue:

The Center for Civic Innovation has launched the third round of our Civic Innovation Fellowship –– a leadership and business development program for civic entrepreneurs in Atlanta! We are looking for individuals with innovative, outcome-driven ideas to tackle civic challenges in Atlanta. This could be a recidivism program that keeps recently incarcerated youth from going back to jail or a program that improves mental and guidance counseling inside of a high school. We believe these types of entrepreneurs can inform and shape local public policy and programs in our city, and the result is both civic and economic impact. The program consists of a cohort of up to eighteen fellows and provides them with business development workshops, free workspace, mentorship, advising, and leadership development training for 6-18 months. Through our partnership with Food Well Alliance, we support entrepreneurial efforts that advance the strength of our local food system— this includes the way we grow it, receive it, know about it, and consume it. That means each year we reserve a select number of seats in the Fellowship for leaders that are focused specifically on local food. Join us for an info session to learn more about the Civic Innovation Food Fellowship and the application process!
