Everyday in Fulton County Georgia more than 20 children are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Once placed in DFCS care, these children become traumatized because of unfamiliar surroundings and court processes. CASA is there to help these children navigate the system into a safe and permanent environment or reunification. To become an EVERYDAY HERO and advocate for children in foster care, attend one of the Advocacy 101 sessions to learn more. This is only the first step to making a difference in the lives of foster children.
