Michael Santrock, of the Fulton County Teaching Museum South, will teach a four week evening class, “A School House Divided: The Dual School System and Civil Rights in Fulton County, 1871 - 1971.” Some of the topics covered are: “History of segregation in Atlanta and the Fulton County Schools System,” “1940s: War and the Segregated Homefront,” “1960s: The Civil Rights Movement.”

The course is taught over four consecutive Thursday evenings, February 7 - 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the barn activity room of Barrington Hall, 535 Barrington Dr., Roswell, GA 30075. The cost per student is $69.00. Call 770-640-3855 to reserve your seat in this class or ask questions.
