Amelia is a singer song writer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. She first discovered her love for music in elementary school after auditioning for the role of Alice in Wonderland. She has been singing ever since. She draws influences from several artists, including - Macy Gray, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Ruben Studdard, and Neil Young. When she sings it’s apparent that she’s not confined to one genre and has the ability to switch styles and tones with ease. Her music pays homage to the past greats while blending contemporary sounds and styles to create her own timeless music. Amelia’s ultimate ambition is to provide her listeners with music that makes them feel and takes them to another place. She truly has a love and passion for her music and sharing her words with the world. Amelia feels that even if one person connects to her songs she’s achieved her purpose.
