40th Annual Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk in East Point

The Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. and the City of East Point will host the 40th Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Tri-Cities High School at 9:00 a.m. The Sickle Cell Road Race/Walk is a Road Runners Club of America-certified state championship race. Participants will run the challenging 7k (4.3 miles) course or walk the comfortable 4k (2.5 miles) course down Main Street and through East Point‘s diverse communities. The 7k run is chip timed, the course is certified, and it’s a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, which takes place rain or shine. The registration for the adult 4k walk is $35.00/children (ages 6-17) 4k walk is $25.00. Registration for the adult 7K timed run is $40.00/children (ages 6-17) 7k timed run is $35.00.
