Double Poetry Feature plus Open Mic.
Felton Eaddy is a writer, performer, and educator whose poems have appeared in DrumVoices, Out of the Rough, African American Review, and Poetz. Felton also leads a variety of educational programs for all ages, featuring his own poems as well as folk tales and slam poetry.
Erika R. Land is a 21st-century war poet, known for her numerous essays, fiction novels, and various poetry collections, and for being a civil rights activist. As a War Poet, Erika channels her experiences of being deployed to Mosul, Iraq to help with Operation Iraqi Freedom into dynamic poetry that takes the reader on a journey emotionally and physically.
Readings 7-9pm. Open Mic in the middle. Suggested donation for Admission is $5, but no one will be turned away.
