The 4th annual Storied Affiar cocktail reception raises funds for the preservation of the historic home of the Atlanta Constitution journalist and Uncle Remus author Joel Chandler Harris. This year’s event will feature a wine tasting inspired by Brer Rabbit’s international journey.

Today, the Uncle Remus stories have been translated into over 30 languages worldwide. A Storied Affair, will showcase Harris’ international influence in the literary world through a wine tasting. The Juice Box, an Atlanta wine retailer, will provide five wines from select countries that have translations of the Brer Rabbit stories, and one homegrown Georgia wine. Each wine will be selected by the retailer’s sommelier. Wren’s Nest guests will explore the countries’ wines and their connection to Brer Rabbit and Uncle Remus.
