A fall tradition in Oakhurst, Porchfest was born as an effort to connect and strengthen the neighborhood’s already tight-knit community. Porchfest, also called the “ultimate grassroots music festival,” turns the sleepy neighborhood into festival grounds, with residents’ porches, backyards, and driveways doubling as stages. Patrons can stroll from house to house, catch dozens of bands, and make the most of the crisp autumn air.
