Cost: Free

From the venue:

Join us Tuesday May 28th as we welcome renowned photographer Allan Teger.
Allan’s Bodyscapes, are not digital, darkroom, or camera tricks - they are created by placing small figures and objects directly on the body and making a single exposure.
Bodyscapes were originally designed to illustrate the concept that two realities could exist simultaneously - a concept that he was teaching at the time. Teger, who holds a Ph.D. in psychology, taught full time at the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University before leaving academics in 1981 to pursue a full time career in art. Much of his work is derived from his interest in consciousness and mysticism and from the practice of meditation.
Teger’s Bodyscapes Photographs have been the subject of two books, have been published in over 20 countries, and have been featured in gallery shows across the country.

Reception with the Artist: Tuesday May 28th, 6-9pm
