Atlanta Field Day 2019

Channel your inner child for an afternoon of fun in the sun at this year’s Atlanta Field Day. Brought to you by Atlanta Sport and Social Club, Atlanta Field Day is a 21+ spin on your favorite elementary school activity. The coed teams are comprised of eight members—  you can compete alongside your friends or face them in a battle to become “king of the field.” Events include classic field day staples such as a tug of war, obstacle courses, and relay races, but there will be some innovative new challenges like eating contests, a backyard wheelbarrow race, a photo booth scavenger hunt, and a giant paper airplane toss. Food truck offerings and a stocked bar will also be on the premises. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go towards Playworks Georgia, a nonprofit organization aimed at providing a healthy and structured play environment for all children. Even if athletics aren’t your thing, you don’t have to go home empty-handed. In true grade school fashion, the team spirit award will also be bestowed on the team with the best costumes. Don’t forget your sunscreen! NOTE: in case of rain the event will be rescheduled for August 3.
