Speed, Sun & Summer Fun at the Cool Dads Rock 7th Annual Soapbox Derby

Come out to Historic Fourth Ward Park on Saturday, August 3rd from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm for Cool Dads Rock’s biggest event of the year. The derby has something for everyone; music, food, vendors and the main attraction, soapbox car racing.

Founded in 2013 by LaVerio “DJ LV” Barnes, Cool Dads Rock has a mission to make dads cool by providing opportunities for them to bond with their kids doing fun and enriching activities like building cars together to race at the CDR Soapbox Derby.

Comedian and radio host Griff will emcee as racers hit the Rankin Street hill to compete for fastest and fan favorite car. Racing begins at 12:30 pm. For more information visit www.cooldadsrock.com.
