Since 1991, Simon Joyner has woven tales of intimacy and woe, catharsis and miasma into a body of songs populated by characters who live out their days in a desolate Midwestern landscape. The Omaha-based singer, guitarist, and songwriter is no stranger to the road. This summer, he’s traveling through the Southeast with his band the Ghosts, playing songs from throughout his career leading up to this year’s latest album, Pocket Moon (Grapefruit Records). Sunset Pig and Lowtown also perform.
