Hailing from Decatur, Georgia, Yung Baby Tate is next up for the females. This multi- talented hip-hop star sings, raps, writes and produces her own music. Tate’s early bangers include “Bob”, “Pretty Girls” and “Dope D.” Her completed projects include Girls (2019), BOYS (2018) and ROYGBIV (2015). She’s opened up for acts like CupcaKke and performed alongside Trina on stage.

Given name Tate Farris, she was born on May 13, 1996, in Decatur, Georgia. Her mom, Dionne Farris, is a singer/songwriter and her dad, David Ryan Harris, a musician. Growing up, Tate always had a thing for music. Her most memorable performance was tap dancing at age 6. She began playing the piano at age 10. The rising star also gained early exposure performing in her local church choir. Combined that with performance arts school, and its safe to say that she was made for this. She would take up beat making at age 13.

Tate grew up listening to acts like Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and Marvin Gaye. She also listened Atlanta artists like Gucci Mane, Migos and Future. Tate’s debut EP, ROYGBIV, was released in November 2015. Each tracks represents a color (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet). Her sophomore project, XMAS, arrived in December 2016. It featured additional production from Nyck Besar. XMAs included songs like “Ice Cold”, “CFN SZN” and “Light Up The Tree” featuring NoGum Hundo.

2018 saw the release of Tate’s ‘Cuddy Buddy’ and ‘BOYS’ EPs. They included songs like “Dope D”, “Bob”, “Bubba Gump” and “Beckham.” The o cial video for ‘Bob’ was released as an Elevator Magazine exclusive. Another EP, Summer Lover, dropped in July 2018. The track-list include “Maneater” and “Catch A Grip.” Tate performed at the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles, California. She wore a red latex bodysuit, snow goggles and rainbow boots.

Girls, Tate’s full-length album, arrived in February 2019. It was led by tracks “That Girl” and “Pretty Girl” remix featuring Killumantii and Mulatto. Guest appearances were also made by Bbymutha, Baby Rose and Kari Faux. Tate jut completed the ‘The Acrylic Tour’ alongside Leikeli47. It kicked off on March 19 in Kansas City, Missouri, and concluded on April 26 in San Diego, California.
