Since he emerged over two decades ago, Robbie Fulks has proven to be one of the premier artists in Americana. From his deep-rooted honky-tonk country roots to covering Michael Jackson and Shania Twain, Fulks’ diverse tastes and incredible writing skills have always been presented in the brightest light. Teaming up with Linda Gail Lewis (Jerry Lee’s sister!) has taken his work in a new direction, and their duets are reminiscent of the classic country sounds of Conway and Loretta, or Porter and Dolly, but with tongues planted firmly in their cheeks. — James Kelly
