Please join us Oct 3 for a reception and artist talk with abstract painter Barbara Krupp. Originally from Ohio, Barbara began her professional art career in 1976, gaining her first solo exhibition in 1979 at the Rockport Art Association in Massachusetts. She has actively shown her work throughout the Midwest, the East Coast and the South. In 2018, the University of Tampa purchased 53 original pieces of her work for their Graduate and Health Studies Building. The same year, she also became a shortlist finalist for the Rise Art Prize, one of the world’s largest art prizes.

In her large abstract paintings the subtle shades bloom into new color atmospheres. The minimal forms evoking a sense of simultaneous movement and passage of time. By bringing these elements together, they form new ideas, an abstraction in thought.

Come discover the work of Barbara Krupp.

Reception with the artist 6-9pm - Artist Talk 6:30pm
