Meet the Author: A Visit from Sara Varon

Nationally renowned children’s book author Sara Varon pays a visit for this special program and book signing!

Author of the bestselling picture books Odd Duck, President Squid, and Hold Hands, Ms. Varon will share some of her books and illustrations and talk about her work. She might even illustrate a picture or two!

On her picture book, Hold Hands, The New York Times noted, “Varon’s singular visual style — bright, friendly and completely zany — and her deft, economical writing make this simple ode to holding hands burst with originality and charm.”

A book signing will take place after the program and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase some of Ms. Varon’s books.
