CLOSING RECEPTION, by the ImageGriot, Nafisa Valita Sheriff for the “Silver Living Legacies Extraordinaire: Women of Distinction” This project depicts twenty four women, all over the age of sixty, who have and are making a difference in Atlanta. Their lives have intertwined with Ms. Sheriff in unique ways, culminating in a sharing of knowledge, wisdom, love, strength of gentle character and kind hearts. Through a unique photographic imaging process and autobiographical essays, the Silver Living Legacies Extraordinaire will be accessible in a series of public, photographic exhibitions, as well as a black and white coffee table book highlighting each Shero.
