From the venue:

Laura Czyzewski: On the day she was born, the Billboard #1 song was “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and nothing could have been more appropriate for this South Jersey native. Thanks to her father who loved female singer/songwriters, Laura was singing songs by Carly Simon and The Carpenters from the time she could speak. Laura loves all kinds of rock ‘n’ roll (except maybe death metal) and has found great influence from female vocalists throughout history, namely Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Ann Wilson, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco and is excited by the new wave of indie rock female-led bands like Joseph, Tennis, Wye Oak, and St. Vincent. It has been her dream to sing with a band and she could not be more grateful for the opportunity to rock out with these super fun gents.

Mark Landgrebe: As a child growing up in the 60’s and 70’s in Atlanta, Mark couldn’t help but be heavily influenced by the great bands of that time. Early memories of the Beatles, 5th Dimension, and the Mamas and the Papas tuned his ear to rich vocal harmonies. Later on in the 70’s bands like the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Three Dog Night and yes, even the Partridge Family (he was a member of their fan club) got him into rock. At age of 10, Mark started playing guitar and dreamed of one day playing music from some his favorite bands like Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Styx, Foreigner, Pink Floyd. Finally in the early 90’s Mark’s dream came true as he was in a series of bands including: Liquor Box, Radiant, and Full Throttle. For a brief stint Mark dropped out of the music scene then returned again in the early 2000’s in a trio call DMT Band which transformed into Acoustic Rebellion morphing into The Wry Tones and now Yesterday Calling.

Mike Brady : Mike began playing drums the day he heard the Spirit of Radio by Rush in 1980. ‘I want to do that’, he thought to himself. High school garage bands and weekend jams in college were the foundation of his playing until Terry Bozzio’s Ostinato series revealed the drums more as an instrument, vs. things to beat the crap out of. He soon took lessons and focused on the rudimentary aspects of drumming. In the early 2000’s Mike played in an Atlanta local band named Siren. They had some Radio air play on Atlanta’s 99X during their battle of the bands series. While Siren did not win, it was great playing live exposure and helped him meet people in the Atlanta Music scene. After a 4 year stint with Mad Mission featuring Marty Helppie, Mike finds himself in this great cover band with fantastic players that continue to challenge him and make making music exciting.

Todd Allen: Todd hails from N.Y. and plays bass and an occasional mandolin and guitar for the band. In the past he has played for various bands like Brother Bob and the Liquorice Twist, Fast Eddie and Friends, and the Cavaliers.
