At the age of 50, he was 460 pounds, a size XXXXXXL, and at risk for heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. In an attempt to understand his weight problem and that of others,, Tomlinson set out on a journey across the country to meet other plus-sized people and face his issues head-on.
