Editor’s Note: This event has been canceled amid growing concern over the coronavirus.
Organized by the High in collaboration with the international photographic cooperative Magnum, the Live Lab is a residency and related exhibition that will address contemporary life in Atlanta by involving the community in the realization of a new body of photographs. For the two-week-long “photographic jam session” (March 16–27, 2020), American photographer Carolyn Drake and South African artists Mikhael Subotzky and Lindokuhle Sobekwa will create individual projects about themes relevant to the city.
