Boogie T, aka Brock Thornton, dropped his most recent EP, Old Gold, last month. The new four-track set features support from SubDocta. Steeped in funk and the blues since he was just 11, the Louisiana native DJ and producer loves to put his own twist on dubstep. His latest collection marks his first project in the genre since his 2017 set Soul’d out. Subdocta guests on track No. 4, “Bambaataa.” The Boogie T.rio band is comprised of Boogie T on guitar, Andriu Yanovski on keys and synth, and Frank Castro on drums. They’ve been playing to live crowds with a warm reception since 2018. They’re launching a new decade together by taking their unique riddim sound on a nationwide tour. Fans aren’t going to want to miss the opportunity to catch them light up live stages across America in the new year.
