ActivateATL: Virtual Public Input Meeting, Downtown Focus

In June 2020, the City of Atlanta’s Department of Parks and Recreation launched *ActivateATL: Recreation and Parks for All,* a comprehensive master planning effort aimed at increasing access to exceptional recreational programming, fostering community connections to nature through parks and trails, and improving the health, happiness, and resilience of all Atlantans, in all neighborhoods.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN ActivateATL?
Through your participation at a virtual public meeting, your input will:
- Preserve and cultivate what you want most from your recreational activities and neighborhood parks,
- Influence the programming and activities that take place at your local recreation center,
- Identify the opportunities for growing and connecting our recreational programs and parks system so that recreation activities and parks become part of all Atlantans’ everyday life.

Give your input at the Downtown Atlanta focused public meeting on June 24th at either 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. (though each meeting has a focus, you are welcome to join any meeting that is convenient for you - the same details of the project plan will be shared across all meetings).

Meetings will be streamed live on the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page.
