Medicine Making Intensive

Join Herbalista Lorna, as we will explore a range of skills and techniques for creating potent plant medicines. This ONLINE class (via Zoom) takes place throughout the month of October and is appropriate for complete beginners or for folks wanting to hone or acquire additional apothecary skills. 

We will be covering a wide array of preparations. Starting with the basics, such as tincture extraction, syrups, and salves and moving into more advanced techniques, including percolation and hydrosol distillation (with Marie-Lies Van Asten of Rambling Creations). 

We will give you a glimpse of our apothecary at Herbalista and share basic tips from bottle cleaning to creating the perfect tincture riser! 

Beyond our 25 HOURS of live class time via ZOOM, we will provide extensive handouts including instructional handouts, medicine making worksheets, delish recipes and other resource listings. 

The COURSE FEES are based on a SLIDING SCALE ($150 - $450) as we try our best to make this offering accessible to all! Please place yourself where you feel comfortable, and remember your support helps to fund others who might be experiencing financial difficulties during these trying times.
