Celebrate National Adopt a Dog Day with Best Friends Animal Society, a nonprofit organization that works collaboratively with Atlanta-area shelters, animal welfare organizations and individuals to save the lives of pets in shelters. Best Friends will be at Atlantic Green from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lots of furry friends looking for a forever home. Both dogs and cats will be available for adoption on a first come, first serve basis. Social distancing will be enforced. For more details, visit atlanticstation.com.
