Come celebrate Arts Month in Decatur with the first ever Downtown Decatur Chalk Walk! Professional chalk artists invited from across the Southeast will showcase their skills in the first of three sections of chalk creations. Local artists of all ages can vie for the top spot in a friendly community competition. And everyone is invited to contribute to an open community section of the event - no design skills required!

Throughout the event, DJ Kwasi will keep things lively, playing tunes from the pocket park in front of 1 West Court Square.

Sign up for a sidewalk square in the community competition! The fee is $10 (per square) and includes individually bagged chalk. Thirty squares are available. Register by 5 p.m. Friday, May 14, at decaturartsalliance.org.
